These are my notes about the Japanese language. Most of the information can be found in any textbook; some other is just me trying to make sense of it. I put a lot of effort in the organization of the material so I made it public, in case someone finds it useful, but I am not a Japanese language teacher; I am just a student of Japanese.
This section begins with the writing material taught in Japan to 1st grade children – the kanas and the very first kanjis; the rest of the material are comments on the Pimsleur level 1 course.
- kanas – the hiragana and katakana syllabaries
- radicals – the building blocks of the kanjis
- kanjis – kanji basics
- kanken 10 – the 80 1st-grade kanjis, i.e., kanji kentei level 10
- Pimsleur 1 vocabulary and grammar
